shipping questions

How long will my order take to reach me?

Once I receive your order, it will be packed and shipped in the order it was received. This could be the next day (hopefully!) or it could be longer (boo!) depending on how many orders are received and when I need to reorder inventory. Having done the math on this, the maximum time before your order reaches you could be up to four weeks.

Why is the shipping estimate so long?

You know how you go to a restaurant and there are no tables, and the hostess says, "Yeah, you're looking at forty-five minutes to an hour?" Then she calls your name and you think, ah, what luck, the wait was actually only thirty minutes? That's because she's setting an expectation in your mind on purpose. If she said, "It'll be twenty minutes," but it's actually an hour, that would be infuriating.

I don't know how quickly or how big this shop will take off. I've built in some padding in case the initial volume of orders is overwhelming during this start-up period.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Right now, I'm just getting the hang of operating on online store. I'm taking baby steps right now, but I'm hoping to be able to branch into international markets, soon. This requires me to do some research on taxes, duties, tariffs, and laws regarding the sales of explicit material. I want to be sure I'm doing this right!

Paperback questions

Why are your paperbacks so much more expensive here than on Amazon?

Excellent question! The paperbacks on this site do run about ten dollars USD more than they do on major retailer sites. This is because I'm not a major retailer. I don't have employees to pack or ship for me, so I charge a little extra to cover packing material and rides to the post office, while still making a small profit. The upside for you is that you don't have to support a big corporation, AND the books come signed!

Where do you get your paperbacks printed?

I buy my resale copies at a discounted price through Kindle Direct Publishing and IngramSpark.

When is [insert title here] going to be in paperback?

Not all of my books are available in paperback, and this is often due to time constraints and production difficulties. My paperback publishing schedule is much slower than my eBook publishing schedule, but rest assured that you'll be seeing paperbacks (and special editions) rolling out over the rest of 2025 and into 2026.

Can you sign my paperback?

All the paperbacks you buy direct from me will come signed and personalized. Just fill out the personalization field on your order page.

Will it be a hand signature or do you use a stamp?

They will be hand signed. I fully support authors using a stamp, but I can't afford one in this economy.

I'm ordering multiple copies for different people. Can I get them personalized differently?

e-Book questions

Why are some e-Books not available in epub and mobi?

Because those are currently the files I have. Trust me, getting both formats up is 100% on my goal list!

Do you ever run sales?

Due to Amazon rules, I can't offer my books at a lower price than I set with them. Have we talked about how evil Amazon is, yet?

Why aren't all of your e-Books on the site?

Some of my books are currently available in Kindle Unlimited. Due to Amazon's exclusivity clause, I can't carry those e-Books here.
